THESE two!!!!! I've known them for a minute or two or three hundred. They are sooooo meant to be. We had a blast in some of the best weather yet this year in Kansas City. Congrats love birds.

Love Is In The Air...

I had the honor of photographing a high school senior, who was only ONE day away from moving into the college dorm. And his cutie-pa-tootie girlfriend tagged along for a few who I had such a great time photographing just a year ago when SHE was a high school senior.

It was a beautiful day, and I came across a quote recently that totally made me think of her. Here goes: "She is free in her wildness, she is a wanderess, a drop of free water. Meet the lovely, talented and very motivation Jvon. She studied and earned a degree from Stanford in criminal justice, writes screen plays and is embarking on furthering her career in personal training. I hear her boot camp kicks butt, in a good way.

I had the honor of spending the evening with this gorgeous FAMILY! We just missed the rain... whew!

I enjoy photographing families. FAMILY is more than blood, and it's more than birthing human beings into the world.

I had the pleasure of photographing these two long distance best friends the day after Spring had sprung. Our weather was amazing! We laughed, we reminisced, we contemplated the cosmos, we celebrating being women!

Woot woot.

So excited.  So many things I could say about how this kid is way WAY smart and ALREADY doing an internship at Cerner and he's STILL in high school and how AMAZING his mom is....aughhhh.

I love moms who are open to letting other people in on the life of her children: who see the value in lots of people loving and encouraging her children. Very wise.

We enjoyed the last nice weather day of 2014. Gooooood times.
